Troopers stopped a 2018 Chevrolet Suburban at approximately 12:45 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24, when it passed a patrol car at a high rate of speed north on Route 15 in the vicinity of exit 53.

According to police, during the subsequent traffic stop, it was determined that there was marijuana present in the vehicle, prompting a further investigation by troopers.

The search determined that the three parties were in possession of more than a half-ounce of marijuana, which was hidden in several places throughout the vehicle. All three men were arrested.

Brandt Steiner, 29, of Miami Beach, Florida, Hollywood, Joshua Salzberg, 37, of Hollywood, California, and Bayside, New York, resident Evan Bogard, 39, were each arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance for having more than half an ounce of marijuana. Bogard was also cited for passing on the right and speeding over 70 mph.

Following their arrests, each of the three men was released on separate $1,000 cash bonds and are scheduled to appear in the Milford Superior Courthouse on Tuesday, Aug. 20 to respond to the charges against them.
